Full Job Description

As an expert administrative advisor, you assist with highly complex strategic initiatives and serve as subject matter leader. You lead and influence large-scale organizational and market initiatives while liaising with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. In addition to being the business manager, you represent your specialty on initiatives requiring high-level expertise in a complex field. You’re responsible for strategic, highly innovative, cross-sector projects and initiatives that are operationally and conceptually complex. They require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. A strategic mindset and organizational savvy are therefore essential. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Complete strategic assessments, develop scenarios and solve unique and complex problems that impact the entire organization
  • Develop and implement business practices that meet clients’ complex business needs while honouring Desjardins’s commitments and acting in accordance with Desjardins’s priorities
  • Design solutions that meet highly complex needs, recommend implementation strategies and priorities, and coordinate the delivery of work
  • Develop implementation oversight mechanisms for innovative solutions you design.
