Job Summary:

The Cat.com Experience team is seeking an Experimentation Product Owner to support our experimentation and personalization capabilities using Adobe Target. Working alongside the Experimentation Product Manager, this role is responsible for managing the testing backlog, coordinating implementation efforts, and ensuring the successful execution of A/B testing and personalization initiatives.

The Product Owner partners closely with product managers, UX, analytics, development teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements, execute experiments, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement of the customer experience through a test-and-learn approach.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with the Experimentation Product Manager to execute the experimentation roadmap, manage delivery activities, and ensure priorities are effectively translated into implementation plans.
  • Execute A/B testing and personalization initiatives across Cat.com and related digital properties, including experiment setup, QA, launch, monitoring, and results validation.
  • Partner with Product Managers, UX teams, and engineering to translate customer insights and business opportunities into testable experiences.
  • Analyze experiment performance, customer behavior, and site analytics to identify optimization opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.


What You Will Have:

Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Software Change Request Management: Knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.
Software Problem Management: Knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for resolving software problems; ability to manage software problems in installed software products.
Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools and techniques; ability to design, implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users.

Considerations for Top Candidates
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Target, including A/B testing, experience targeting, audience segmentation, and personalization execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple experiments simultaneously while analyzing results and communicating insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar web analytics platforms to measure and optimize digital experiences.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $183,140.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
