Job DescriptionOur Building Maintenance Engineering unit is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Structural Engineer to take on the role as a system engineer over the structures of the nuclear facilities on the Naval Reactor Facility (NRF) Site.
Within this role you will develop service life extension plans for legacy facilities, and take an active role in commissioning and starting up a new nuclear facility. You will plan and execute work tasks as assigned from inception to execution. These work tasks include repairs, modifications to existing structures, and modernization initiatives for the legacy facilities. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in steel and reinforced concrete codes for nuclear facilities including ASCE 43, ACI 349, AISC N690, and DOE orders and standards.
Required Combination of Knowledge and SkillBachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering, science field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or Currently a Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge in steel and reinforced concrete codes for nuclear facilities including ASCE 43, ACI 349, AISC N690, and DOE orders and standards

Pay Range$106,200.00 - $166,000.00 annually
