Full Job Description
Experienced Quality Systems Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to join the 777/X Quality Data Systems team based out of Everett, Washington, USA.

In this role, you will work with production stakeholders and utilize company data platforms to retrieve, analyze, and present quality data, conduct assessments, and provide meaningful insights for operational and process improvements. You will lead Quality reviews, help develop/maintain data visualizations to support meeting/presentation cadences or emergent requests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to program goals and compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze quality and process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems
  • Attend cadence meetings prepared to provide data/metric inputs and recommendations to cross-functional leadership teams
  • Prepare and maintain Quality metrics that offer perspective of performance to directives, policies, processes, procedures and to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed effectively
  • Participates with stakeholders in both Manufacturing and Quality to drive action, develop preventive or corrective actions and monitor implementation
  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability
  • Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
  • Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment
  • Works under general direction


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions
  • 3+ years of experience in data mining, processing and analysis
  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and Power Point
  • 1+ years of experience working with FAA audits, conformities, compliance and regulations
