Experienced Paving Superintendent.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Paving Superintendent to oversee and manage asphalt paving operations on commercial, municipal, and roadway projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving, crew leadership, project coordination, and quality control, with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate daily paving operations, including crews, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Plan and schedule project activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
- Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Oversee quality control to ensure all paving work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, owners, inspectors, and suppliers.
- Manage labor, equipment, sub haulers, and material resources effectively.
- Conduct daily jobsite meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Troubleshoot field issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paving Superintendent or similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of asphalt paving operations, grading, and roadway construction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification and paving-related certifications are a plus.
