You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, prepare briefs, conduct legal research for trial preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent Florida Family Law paralegal experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of law firm litigation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure and local court practices.
• Experience preparing financial affidavits, mandatory disclosures, discovery, and equitable distribution worksheets.
• Experience with trial preparation and evidence organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
