WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Diagnose and repair Subaru vehicles across a full range of systems - engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and beyond - using Subaru diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures
• Move beyond routine maintenance into line-level diagnostic work - interpreting fault codes, conducting road tests, and working through multi-system concerns methodically
• Develop and execute accurate repair plans - communicating findings clearly to service advisors to support guest authorization and timeline commitments
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently - documenting all work performed and parts used with precision
• Stay current on Subaru technical service bulletins, software updates, and evolving repair procedures
• Perform test drives to validate diagnostic conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout every shift
• Contribute to a shop culture where quality, accountability, and craftsmanship are the baseline

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 2+ years of Subaru dealership or Subaru-specific service experience strongly preferred
• Proven background as an apprentice or express technician ready to take the next step into full line and diagnostic work
• ASE certifications recommended - Subaru factory certifications a strong plus
• Solid diagnostic foundation - able to approach complex, multi-system problems with patience and process
• Comfortable with Subaru Select Monitor or equivalent diagnostic platforms
• Low comeback rate and a personal standard that doesn't require managing
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the role - lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A craftsmanship mindset - you take pride in every repair that leaves your bay
