Experienced Automotive Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee desking and closing.
- Train, and motivate the sales team.
- Ensure that CRM and DMS procedures are followed to increase closing rates.
- Set clear goals and standards for the sales team to meet or exceed dealership and OEM CSI, sales, volume, and profit goals.
- Assist General Sales Manager with managing new and pre-owned inventory to keep costs in line and the optimal number of vehicles available for sale.
- Work with the management team to maintain optimum efficiency and profitability for the dealership group.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in automotive sales
- Kia or Hyundai Certification a plus
- Success in CSI, market share, volume, and profit.
- Ability to identify and develop new talent.
- Understanding of CRM best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of sales process.
- Experience in Pre-owned inventory management and trade appraisal.
