In this position you will serve as the Executive Specialist for the commander/civilian leader of the organization. The position is responsible for administering and directing the group/directorate's executive support functions and ensuring that day-to-day operations comply with the policies of the command. The work is performed with an extraordinary degree of independence from supervision.

Position requires broad executive level management and administrative experience with a thorough knowledge of mission partner functions and interrelationships with directorate support activities. The incumbent must advise and assist the director with a very wide variety of management and administrative activities. The individual must exercise a high degree of initiative, integrity, and independent judgment; display the utmost tact and diplomacy while coordinating matters with management officials; and draw upon extensive background in directorate activities to include operations, special missions, planning, and resources management.
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the overall mission, functions, operations and organization; and a variety of principles and processes applicable to the work operations of a military group or equivalent.
Knowledge of analytical, evaluative, and planning processes, techniques and methods as applied to issues or studies involving administrative or support functions.
Knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies and precedents applicable to group programs and related support resources or equivalent.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to plan, organize work, and manage multiple taskings.
Ability to apply lean, safety, security, and health principles, practices, and procedures and to understand and apply internal management procedures.
