Full Job Description
The Executive Recruiter serves as a strategic talent advisor to senior leadership, leading the full life cycle of recruitment for the organization's most critical executive hires. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting—it partners with executive leaders to understand their talent needs, shape hiring strategy, and deliver top-tier leadership talent that advances the organization's mission.

In this role, the Executive Recruiter manages the end-to-end hiring process for executive positions, including sourcing, phone screenings, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation. This individual conducts and manages both internal and external executive searches, and partners with selected search vendors to monitor progress and ensure quality outcomes. Beyond execution, the Executive Recruiter develops and implements executive recruiting and sourcing strategies, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve executive recruiting processes and procedures.

As a trusted advisor, the Executive Recruiter consults with and advises executive leadership on hiring decisions, market realities, and talent strategy.

Education

  • Required - Associate’s degree
  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience

  • Required - 5 years of experience in corporate or agency recruiting
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of TA initiatives in the Leadership and Executive levels
  • Proven experience in Health Care Leadership and Executive Recruiting
  • Experience in coaching and guiding senior members of an HR organization
  • Experience in project management, change management and negotiations
  • Preferred - Provider healthcare experience
  • Experience with Taleo and Workday

Certifications

  • Preferred- PHR / SPHR
  • CHRC Certification

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Expert knowledge of talent acquisition within the specialty and talent acquisition policies and procedures  Proven experience in the development and implementation of TA initiatives in the Leadership and Executive levels
  • General knowledge of HR polices and procedures
  • Knowledge of HR and talent acquisition strategy trends within the healthcare or regulated industry Experience in coaching and guiding senior members of an HR organization
  • General knowledge of talent acquisition corporate governance guidelines, as well as, knowledge of talent acquisition compliance and reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency in innovative sourcing; including cold calling and professional networking
  • Skill in developing and implementing cost effective strategies for obtaining qualified candidates
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills

The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
