Summary
The Executive Protection Operations Manager supports the Sr. Manager, Executive Protection in the day-to-day coordination, administration, and expansion of the Executive Protection Program. This role serves as a central operational partner responsible for vendor management, administrative oversight, and operational logistics supporting executive protection activities across the organization. The Operations Manager ensures continuity of operations by coordinating personnel, travel logistics, and protective resources while supporting the continued growth of
executive protection services for executive leadership.

Core Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary operational liaison and documented vendor manager for contracted
executive protection personnel, overseeing timesheets, payroll coordination, invoicing,
expense tracking, and personnel-related administration.
• Coordinate executive protection operations during principal travel, events, and complex
movements, including vendor staffing, transportation resources, operational
communications, and coordination with Executive Assistants, Protective Intelligence,
GSOC, and other internal stakeholders.
• Support the planning and execution of executive protection coverage across executive
leadership, helping expand and sustain protection capabilities beyond the CEO program.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, SOPs, and program documentation to
ensure consistency and scalability across executive protection operations.
• Assist with operational planning, coverage forecasting, and surge staffing to ensure
appropriate resources are available for travel, events, and emerging requirements.
• Backfill operational roles when necessary, including Close Protection Agent, Executive
Protection Agent, Executive Protection Lead, or Advance Agent during staffing shortages,
surge operations, or major events.
• Support vendor performance management and operational quality assurance, identifying
gaps, coordinating improvements, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Lead or support operational initiatives such as workflow improvements, program tooling,
training coordination, and other projects that improve efficiency and program maturity.
• Support after-action reviews, operational debriefs, and continuous improvement efforts
across the Executive Protection Program.
• Identify operational gaps, process improvements, or resource needs and elevate
recommendations to the Sr. Manager.

Key Competencies
• Strong operational judgment and ability to coordinate complex executive protection
activities across multiple stakeholders and environments.
• Physically fit and able to safely perform the physical demands of the role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in
fast-moving operational environments.
• Clear and concise communication skills, capable of coordinating effectively with
executives, vendors, and internal security teams.
• High attention to detail across scheduling, documentation, logistics, and operational
planning.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, supporting program leadership while also
executing operational tasks when required.
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive executive information.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify operational gaps and implement
practical solutions.

Preferred Background
• 5+ years of experience in executive protection, protective operations, or corporate security
environments.
• Experience coordinating executive travel operations, advances, and protective logistics in
dynamic environments.
• Experience managing vendor personnel, scheduling, or operational administration within a
protective services program.
• Strong working knowledge of executive protection operations including advances, travel
security, movement coordination, and event support.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational logistics and administrative workflows
supporting protective operations.
• Valid CA Guard Card, Exposed Firearm Permit, and CA CCW or HR218 required.
• Familiarity with operational platforms such as Winteam, Concur, Signal, Slack, and Google
Workspace.
• Experience supporting high-profile executives, corporate leadership teams, or family office
environments preferred.
