Full Job Description
The Executive Protection Manager (EPM) manages projects that provide discreet, professional, and intelligence-informed protection services for designated senior leaders, including C-suite executives and other assigned principals. This role supports executive safety across corporate offices, manufacturing and distribution environments, retail locations, travel, and company-sponsored events. The EPM conducts advance work, threat and risk assessments, secure transportation operations, and close protection coverage while coordinating closely with executive support staff, internal stakeholders, and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).

Provide low-profile, close protection for designated executives across offices, production facilities, retail sites, travel, hotels, and public venues

Maintain a protection posture that balances safety, discretion, and executive experience

Conduct advances, site surveys, and reconnaissance for executive travel, meetings, and off-site engagements

Develop movement plans, secure routing, contingency options, and emergency plans

Support secure travel logistics and temporary venue security measures, as needed

Certain protection may require international travel. These duties may include overseas advance work, coordination with local security and government authorities, venue and route assessments, and supervision of contracted in-country protection resources

Plan and oversee security operations for company-sponsored events, executive offsites, conferences, and major functions

Coordinate hiring and deployment of off-duty law enforcement and approved security resources

Partner with hotel and venue security teams to align protocols and response procedures

Supervise third-party contractors and Protection Services personnel assigned to temporary event duties

Conduct threat and risk assessments related to executives, travel, facilities, and events utilizing MOSAIC threat assessment techniques

Use OSINT and other approved intel sources to produce concise threat summaries and protective briefings to support planning

Serve as field security incident command lead during incidents and disruptions

Support RFP and scope development, vendor evaluation, and supplier selection for protection and intelligence services

Implement operational protocols for contracted personnel

Maintain liaison relationships with law enforcement and public safety partners

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, Security, Emergency Management, or related field or Relevant law enforcement or military equivalent experience

6+ years of executive protection or close protection experience

Must possess advanced professional security certification (e.g., CPP, CSSM, CSMP) or be eligible and complete within the first year of hire

Recognized executive protection, driving, or intelligence training preferred

Familiarity with ISOS, Factal, Dataminr

Demonstrated experience supporting C-suite or senior executives

Travel and extended duty hours during events and executive travel, including nights, weekends, and holidays or short notice

Valid U.S. passport and clean driver's license

Legal ability to possess a license to carry a concealed firearm for potential duty assignments in states as directed by OGC (or LEOSA equivalent where applicable)

Successful completion of, or the ability to complete within one year of hire, a formal industry-recognized executive protection training program, such as Gavin de Becker & Associates or an equivalent executive protection course

Experience managing or coordinating third-party EP or intelligence vendors

Familiarity with security technology in executive or residential environments

Experience using OSINT methods and tools for threat identification and assessment

First Aid or EMT trained

Extended standing and mobility required

Must be available to travel up to 50%
