Full Job Description
Position Title: Executive Pastry Sous Chef

Salary: $90,000 to $105,000

Job Summary

• A management role, the Executive Pastry Sous Chef must understand and nurture the company core values and F&B program.
• Assist with development and implementing new recipes, culinary activations, and menu items in collaboration with the Executive Pastry Chef
• Work with Pastry Sous Chefs to direct production and on-site execution of new recipes
• Facilitate and conduct training with Pastry Sous Chefs as needed with BOH teams
• Works collaboratively with the Executive Pastry Chef to maintain quality control and standards of production.
• Supports special projects when needed with projects including but not limited to: (tasting, high-level production, media requests, promotions, and photo shoots)
• Be familiar with and help maintain all safety standards, safe food preparation practices, and emergency preparedness requirements.

  • Successful culinary production operation under the direction of the Executive Chef

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate
  • Minimum of three to five years of culinary/kitchen experience, depending upon formal degree or training
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Strong Computer Skills ( Microsoft Office, Delphi, CaterXpert preferred)


  • Self-motivated to be ahead of production, foresee needs, and extra attention to detail
  • Accountable, collaborative, and excellence driven are a must!

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards across all pastry items

  • Maintain sanitation, safety, and food handling standards in compliance with regulations
  • Support catering, special events, and high-volume production operations
  • Help manage labor efficiency and maintain smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
