DescriptionYour Impact & Responsibilities:- Executive Leadership: Serve as a member of the FSPA five person Executive Council actively participating in the strategic planning process that defines organizational long-term goals. You will also partner with the Executive Council to manage operational decisions, refine strategic initiatives, and act as a liaison with the Leadership Team.
- Transparent Communication: Maintain open communication, provide transparent reporting to the Leadership Team regarding organizational conditions, operations, and needs.
- Cultural Stewardship: Drive organizational culture initiatives and employee engagement programs that honor the FSPA mission and values. Provide thoughtful leadership, coaching, and counsel to organization leaders and directors to enhance organizational design and effectiveness, culture and talent capabilities.
- Values Integration: Ensure human resource practices seamlessly reflect the core values and guiding principles of FSPA. Participate in the strategic planning process, playing a key role in shaping and defining the organization's goals to drive long term success and alignment with its mission and values.
- Supervision and Team Oversight: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals across multiple functions, including the learning and development team to enhance development opportunities across the organization. Oversee employee relations, performance management and compliance. Provide thoughtful leadership, coaching and counsel to organization leaders and directors that will enhance effectiveness, culture and talent capabilities. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations concerning HR practices.
Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Preferred Master Degree of Business Administration or HR equivalent, SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR organizational leadership experience, with a proven track record of providing strategic leadership at an executive level. Expertise in overseeing HR functions for organizations with 200+ employees.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics. Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google.
