Sacramento, CA

Annual Salary: $189,000 - $210,000 DOE/DOQ

Agency on Aging Area 4 (AAA4) is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and service-oriented Executive Director to lead one of California's original Area Agencies on Aging and help shape the future of services and support for older adults and people with disabilities across its seven-county service area. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a well-established, mission-driven organization that improves quality of life through advocacy, regional collaboration, and community-based services. Reporting to the Governing Board, the Executive Director oversees the Agency's approximately 60 employees and an annual budget of approximately $20 million, working alongside elected officials, healthcare providers, community partners, and other key stakeholders to address the region's evolving needs. As demand for aging and disability services continues to grow, the next Executive Director will have the opportunity to strengthen partnerships, advance innovative initiatives, and position AAA4 for continued success and long-term impact. The ideal candidate brings experience in aging, disability, or human services, complemented by strong nonprofit leadership, political acumen, and the ability to build trust across a broad regional network.
