What You'll Do- The Executive Director will:

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:
OVERSIGHT OF ALL PROGRAM SERVICES
SUPERVISE, MONITOR AND PROVIDE OVERSIGHT TO THE FOLLOWING DEPARTMENTS
•
IDD AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS Assists with the coordination of networking throughout the counties in which IMS provide services
Assure that all staff are trained and experienced in the use of modalities proposed in the treatment plan
Assist with the development of new programs as required
Assist with the development of new contracts for review and approval
Make recommendations for the implementation of new programs
Participates in development of and assures adherence with Programmatic policies and procedures
Unusual Incident monitoring and reporting
Site visits of licensed and unlicensed program
Licensing of programs and services as specified by EVP & Chief Program Officer or CEO
Participation in IDD provider meetings as required
Ongoing quality Monthly monitoring of all IDD programs
Oversee the accurate and timely completion of required paperwork, progress notes, daily logs, medication logs, etc.
Committee meeting attendance as directed by the EVP & Chief Program Officer
Review and make recommendations for reportable incidents and investigations
Recommend revisions to training policies and procedures
Coordination of special projects as assigned by the EVP & Chief Program Officer
Assure effective administration of Behavior Support Services and Restrictive Procedure Planning
Collect, review, analyze data on targeted behaviors
Collaborate with Human Resource Department on the hiring of qualified staff
Continued fiscal monitoring and planning surrounding overtime, service authorizations vs services rendered
Conflict and complaint resolution surrounding issues with government and/or monitoring entities, program participants, families, advocates

HEALTH SERVICES - NURSING DEPARTMENT Provides regularly to the EVP & Chief Program Officer the planning and reporting about individuals with complex medical conditions and high-risk individuals
Oversees the supervision to the Health Services department
Participates daily in quality assurance matters
Participates in weekly Sentinel Event Prevention Meetings regarding complex issues related to individuals served.
Participates in development of agency policies and procedures related to health care and medications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree and five (5) to ten (10) years experience working in Human Services or Administration
PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Master's Degree in related discipline
PREFERRED EXPERIENCESeven (7) - ten (10) years' experience in Human Services or Administration
Strong knowledge of MH/IDD programmatic implementation including services rendered to consumer's, reports and billing requirements and regulations
Current knowledge of the requirements of a Non-Profit 501c(3)
Contract negotiations and preparation
Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Excellent writing skills and record keeping skills

Schedule• Full-Time
• Participation in Administrator On-Call Rotation
• Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities as business needs require
• Local travel throughout service areas may be required
