Executive Director Job Summary

As Executive Director, you will set the cultural tone and visionary leadership for our community. Your role encompasses the supervision of our dedicated staff, ensuring that every team member contributes positively. You'll ensure all community operations not only meet but exceed regulatory requirements. Through your leadership, you'll inspire a culture of integrity, compassion, and respect, making a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve and the professionals who make our mission possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Represents the company and the community in a professional, positive, and personable manner
  • Maintains the records of the community in compliance with regulatory requirements including that of confidentiality.
  • Interviews, selects, and hires staff and assures adherence to the company's hiring policies.
  • Assist in the sales process from inquiry through move-in, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new residents.
  • Plans, organizes, and implements the policies and procedures of the company as it relates to a specific community.
  • Walks and inspects the community on a daily basis.
  • Assists all other departments in the proper execution of their respective responsibilities.
  • Prepares the annual budget and monthly reporting of budget to actual to be submitted.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience working in the geriatric field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services or equivalent, Master's preferred.
  • Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance. May be required to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
