As an Executive Director, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the building. The Executive Director ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and provides oversight of property management, personnel administration, and resident services.
You Will:
Ensure implementation of policies and procedures relating to resident care
Supervise and assist in providing all resident services, including coordinating those provided by independently contracted ancillary health care providers as requested by residents and families
Conduct assessments, negotiate service plans, develop service schedules, and update service information indicated by resident needs
Ensure that residents are appropriately assessed on a timely basis and charged following that assessment. Meets with resident and designated agent(s) to review evaluation and charges
Assist residents in participating in self-governance activity through Resident Council and committee meetings
Act as an advocate for residents and maintains communication with a designated agent(s) as requested and required. Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction at residence
Is on-call 24/7; arranges appropriate coverage when absent from the building or unavailable to respond to emergencies and ensures that adverse findings by company audits and state surveys are promptly corrected and remain in compliance
Position Requirements:
Maintain administrator license or certification per state requirements
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Sufficient education or experience to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations
Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
Maintains CPR/BLS First Aid Certification as required by State regulations
Experience in managing a program or residence for older adults preferred. One year of supervisory experience is required
