Executive Director, National Strategic Oncology Sales

Labcorp is seeking a remote Executive Director, National Strategic Oncology Sales.

Responsibilities:

National Oncology Strategy & Growth Leadership
• Define and lead the national oncology commercial strategy across enterprise health systems and strategic accounts.
• Align oncology sales objectives with overall business strategy and organizational priorities.
• Identify, prioritize, and drive high-value enterprise opportunities to achieve revenue growth and market share expansion.
• Anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies to capitalize on emerging oncology market dynamics.

Enterprise Account & Strategic Partnership Ownership
• Serve as executive sponsor for key national oncology accounts and partnerships.
• Build and maintain C-suite relationships across health systems, IDNs, and oncology service lines.
• Drive enterprise-level agreements, standardization, and multi-site adoption of oncology solutions.
• Oversee development of strategic account plans led by National Strategic Directors.

Leadership of National Strategic Oncology Function
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Strategic Directors responsible for enterprise oncology accounts.
• Establish clear accountability for opportunity development, pipeline management, and execution.
• Ensure alignment between national strategy and regional/divisional sales teams.
• Champion a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and results.

Enterprise Oncology Opportunity Development
• Oversee identification and advancement of complex, top-down oncology opportunities across key accounts.
• Guide executive-level engagement strategies spanning diagnostics, precision oncology, and advanced solutions.
• Ensure effective positioning of portfolio offerings as integrated, enterprise-level solutions.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution
• Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, IT, and other functions to align go-to-market strategies.
• Translate national opportunities into scalable execution plans across regions and field sales teams.
• Remove organizational barriers to accelerate deal progression and implementation.

Portfolio Leadership & Solution Selling
• Oversee commercialization of the full oncology portfolio, including:
• Specialty and advanced diagnostics
• Precision oncology and molecular solutions
• Oncology informatics and digital integration capabilities
• Ensure solutions are positioned to meet enterprise clinical, operational, and economic needs.

Performance Management & Operational Excellence
• Own national oncology pipeline visibility, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Drive disciplined sales processes, pipeline governance, and reporting.
• Evaluate and continuously improve sales effectiveness, tools, and methodologies.
• Achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• 12 years of progressive healthcare sales experience, including oncology, diagnostics, or related sectors.
• 8 years of leadership experience managing high-performing commercial or strategic account teams.

Preferred Qualifications
• 8 years of experience in oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, or molecular testing
• 5 years of experience and strong understanding of IDN structures, oncology service lines, and value-based care models.
• 8 years of experience leading national or enterprise strategic account functions.
• Advanced degree

About the Role

The Executive Director, National Strategic Oncology Sales role serves as the executive owner of national oncology partnerships, driving enterprise-wide solutions across diagnostics, precision medicine, and integrated oncology services. This leader oversees the development of strategic opportunities, ensures effective collaboration between national and field sales teams, and leads a team of national strategic leaders, including the National Strategic Director Oncology, to accelerate growth and strengthen market position.

Pay Range: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
