Full Job Description
The Administrator drives operational excellence by fostering a highly engaged team focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care. This role ensures full compliance with federal and state regulations while overseeing all center activities and departments. With accountability for strategic planning and performance, the Executive Director coordinates services to maintain the highest standards of resident care and organizational success. Required Qualifications: • Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator according to state regulation and must attend continuing education as required. • BS/BA Degree from an Accredited College in Healthcare Administration or related healthcare field preferred. Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Quality Care & Compliance: Ensures patient-centered care by maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, adhering to Journey's policies and standards, and leading quality assurance and process improvement programs. • Workforce & Operational Leadership: Oversees workforce management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, while ensuring budgetary stewardship and effective business operations planning. • Community & Business Development: Builds partnerships through business development meetings, fosters active community involvement, and supports center participation in healthcare associations at local and state levels.
