Position at Community Options, Inc.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to manage operations in Austin, PA! The Executive Director is responsible for all operations for the region including compliance, growth and development, budget and workforce development. Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their fullest potential. Programs include residential homes, day programs, personalized support, supported employment, and person-centered planning for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Must live in or relocate to Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for daily operations and compliance with state licensing and reporting standards
  • Assess operational issues and develop comprehensive solutions to maintain a high-quality program
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Locate and recommend appropriate grant and funding opportunities
  • Conduct fundraising activities that effectively promote the needs of the national organization
  • Promote and maintain a positive public image of Community Options and our mission
  • Interface with local, state and governmental agencies
  • Participate in developing long and short-term department goals, objectives, and systems

Minimum Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Proven executive or senior management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
