The Team:

This role leads our Editorial, Design and Publishing (EDP) team, a global center of excellence that works across S&P Global divisions to deliver client-facing content that is accurate, consistent, engaging and of the highest quality, enabling our customers to make decisions with conviction. The team works collaboratively around the globe with a culture of respect and trust. The Head of EDP is responsible for providing overall strategic direction, ongoing tactical management, and maintaining connections with key partners in other parts of the organization.

The role reports to the Head of Data Excellence & Partnership within the Enterprise Data Organization (EDO). As part of the EDO, you will contribute to creating a connected,future-readydata ecosystem thatenables growth,drives efficiencythrough AI-enabled solutions, andfosters collaborationacross teams and with customers to unlock the full potential of S&P Global9s data estate.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Leads and develops the EDP team. Runs global team with a high degree of day-to-day autonomy, successfully upholding editorial integrity and high standards while guiding the team through strategic and operational change.
• Develops and maintains strong, trusting relationships with senior-level executives and stakeholders across S&P Global divisions and corporate functions. Works with an enterprise mindset to advance companywide initiatives.
• Sets strategy and direction for the team, enumerating priorities and planning key initiatives, projects and programs. Establishes scorecard, OKRs and KPIs, maintaining regular cadence of reporting to EDO leadership and business stakeholders.
• Motivates and leads EDP toward achieving continued efficiencies in workflows, working in partnership with stakeholders. Ensures team stays at the forefront of opportunities presented by technologies such as gen AI and automation.
• Drives continued alignment of EDP with the wider EDO, partnering closely with colleagues across EDO Data and Technology to identify opportunities to deliver service efficiencies and/or enhanced value for clients and stakeholders.
• Works closely with Finance Partners to set, approve and monitor EDP budgets, including T&E and contractor spend. Leads talent, performance and location strategy for editorial and design job families in close coordination with People Partners.
• Acts as trusted partner to companywide stakeholders such as S&P Global Institute, Office of the CEO, Chief Client Office, Communications & Public Affairs, as well as divisional Product, Technology, Legal and Compliance teams.
• Chairs the S&P Global Editorial Council, a network of senior functional leaders that coordinates and collaborates across divisions to drive quality, consistency and innovation in editorial and publishing.
• Participates as a full member of the Data Excellence & Partnership leadership team.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $144,000 to $225,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual9s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We9re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• 15 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing editorial, analytical or journalistic teams in the financial industry.
• Robust understanding of journalistic and editorial best practices. Mastery of digital publishing and keen understanding of editorial technology.
• Proven ability to lead a team through strategic and operational changes, while maintaining high standards of integrity, quality, accountability, and execution.
• Comfort setting strategy, defining priorities, and troubleshooting complex initiatives, projects and programs across a matrixed organization. Capable of translating high-level ideas into executable targets and clear action plans.
• Proven strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to influence peers and stakeholders, in some cases without authority.
• Strong level of familiarity with and understanding of S&P Global9s business divisions, products, enterprise functions, editorial workflows and technology.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in business, journalism, communications, or a related field.
