Executive Director, Business Development, Central Lab Services Labcorp is seeking a remote
Executive Director, Business Development CLS to join our team.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, EST Responsibilities: - Achieve or exceed annual sales goals for the assigned team
- Manage, coach, mentor, and guide Business Development Directors
- Hire and develop diverse talent across the team
- Assign accounts and territories and forecast contribution to global sales goals
- Deliver team sales performance against established targets
- Conduct quarterly reviews of team account plans
- Partner with sales leaders across business units to develop client relationships and joint opportunities
- Manage team performance and provide feedback and development planning
- Monitor and control team operating expenses
- Facilitate internal collaboration with operational partners
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities
- Utilize SFDC to manage pipeline, forecasting, and sales metrics
- Gather and communicate market intelligence and competitive insights
Minimum Qualifications - 10 years' experience selling services to pharmaceutical and biotech organizations with executive-level client interaction
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelors degree
- 4 years sales leadership experience
Additional Job Standards: - Travel may be required to support client engagement, team oversight, and internal collaboration, including overnight travel and participation in meetings across time zones

This role is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Directors focused on Central Lab Services and driving sales performance. The position plays a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to Labcorp's financial performance. The role operates across a matrixed organization and partners closely with internal stakeholders and leadership teams
Application Window Closes: 07-10-2026 Pay Range: $145,000.00 - $200,000.00 All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
