Why This Role ExistsOur CEO operates at a demanding pace across Fortune 500 executives, investors, board members, candidates, and the press often in multiple cities within the same week. The personal and professional logistics surrounding that work are closely connected.
He is a builder, and the environment reflects that: requests may begin without a clear playbook, and plans can change quickly. This role brings structure, foresight, and exceptional execution to that pace.
You will not simply manage the activity around the CEO. You will make the entire operation run better.
This is a broader and more expansive position than a traditional Executive Assistant role. It combines executive operations and personal logistics with relationship management, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end project ownership.
Key ResponsibilitiesComplex projects from request to resolution. You will take ambiguous, multi-step needs, such as securing an urgent international visa, arranging an important CEO meeting, or helping develop a strategic relationship-and turn them into completed outcomes. You will maintain a clear view of everything in motion, anticipate next steps, consolidate decisions for the CEO, and keep work advancing without requiring close oversight.
Exceptional external experiences. Every candidate, Fortune 500 executive, investor, and partner who interacts with the Office of the CEO should come away more impressed with Distyl. You will deliver precise logistics, thoughtful communication, and calm recovery when plans change. Whether a flight is diverted or a high-stakes meeting runs long, you will protect both the relationship and the CEO's time.
Access to important relationships. CEO-to-C-suite relationships are a meaningful part of Distyl's growth. When a conventional outreach path stalls, you will find another through mutual contacts, executive-assistant networks, thoughtful follow-up, or a creative reason to reconnect. You will combine persistence with judgment, knowing when to keep working a path and when to recommend moving on.
The operating rhythm of the CEO's office. You will help coordinate founders' associates, internal partners, and external vendors through a consistent operating cadence. This includes daily priority summaries, weekly relationship reviews, preparation standards for external meetings, and retrospectives when something does not go as planned. Your goal is to make the office increasingly proactive, so fewer priorities require CEO escalation.
