Your Role:

EMD Serono in Billerica, MA is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their Senior Vice President, Strategy, Portfolio, and Hubs (SPH).

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Manage the calendar for the Senior Vice President, Strategy, Portfolio, and Hubs (SPH). Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents, handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, team calls, and mail.
  • Meeting Coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events. Prepare agendas, manage meeting minutes, and follow up on action items. Ensure the SVP is well-prepared for meetings with relevant materials and information.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of projects and initiatives led by the SVP. Track progress and provide updates on key projects and deadlines.
  • Work across time zones and manage calendars effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between the SVP and internal/external stakeholders. Build and maintain positive relationships with key contacts and departments.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion. Maintain professionalism and a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Work independently but highly collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with all Corporate, Healthcare and R&D stakeholders in scope of the role, as well as key enabling functions like Communications, HR, Controlling, Legal.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with vendors and a network of contacts to external consultants.


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of professional experience supporting senior-level management

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience working across time zones (domestically and globally)
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in social media versatility: experienced in both creating and capturing engaging content for various platforms, with strong text-based communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of AI concepts and demonstrated curiosity to explore AI-enabled solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Pay Range for this position: $41.00 - $63.00/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
