The Opportunity

The Executive Assistant will provide executive, operational, and administrative support to the CHRO and CTOO. Responsibilities include managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, supporting department budgets and vendor activities, facilitating employee engagement initiatives, and partnering across the organization to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
Executive Support

Provide high-level administrative support to the CHRO and CTOO. Manage complex calendars, schedules, and meeting logistics across multiple stakeholders and time zones. Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reporting. Prepare meeting materials, presentations, agendas, and executive communications. Anticipate executive needs, proactively manage priorities, and ensure timely follow-up on key actions. Handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Human Resources, Technical Operations & Employee Experience

Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives across the organization. Coordinate logistics and execution for Exchange Meetings, Anchor Weeks, employee recognition activities, leadership meetings, and company-wide events. Maintain HR-related communications, resources, and administrative processes. Coordinate vendor and contract administration activities for both Human Resources and Technical Operations, including purchase order management, invoice processing, contract routing, and maintaining related documentation within company systems. Support department budget administration and vendor relationships.
Collaboration & Office Support

Partner closely with the Executive Administration team to ensure seamless support across the organization. Collaborate on company events, leadership meetings, and special projects. Participate in regular onsite activities in the Cambridge office, including team meetings, employee engagement events, onboarding activities, and other key business initiatives, helping to foster a connected and collaborative workplace culture. Help foster a welcoming, professional, and collaborative workplace environment.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of Executive Assistant or senior administrative support experience, preferably supporting senior leaders. Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Requirements

Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries. Experience with purchase order processing, invoice management, vendor administration, and systems such as LinkSquared, Workday, Concur, NetSuite, or similar business applications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Location and Conditions
  • At Amylyx, we proudly support remote work opportunities within the United States. However, due to business considerations related to health insurance coverage and state tax regulations, we are unable to hire employees who reside and/or work in certain states. Currently, we are not considering applicants from Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Michigan and Tennessee.
  • You will be expected to travel to our corporate location in Cambridge, MA several times a year and attend other company-related events as necessary and requested.
  • You must have access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role (including privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to video conference, etc.) at your remote location.


Compensation

The pay range posted below represents our good faith estimate of compensation for this role, based on market data and internal benchmarks. The final offer may vary depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as considerations of internal equity.
