Gartner for Chief Human Resource Officers (CHRO) is growing rapidly and is looking to hire an Executive Advisor focused on Member Acquisition.
Background:
Gartner for CHRO's helps HR Executives to navigate the opportunities, challenges and priorities facing HR today. We are in a time that Talent is one of the biggest differentiators of organizational performance, reshaping the Chief Human Resources Officer's role into one of the most high-profile executive team positions. Gartner for CHRO plays an instrumental role in helping a CHRO to navigate and succeed during these critical times through robust benchmarks, validated labor market data, tactical tools, peer-sourced best practices and tailored advice from former CHRO's to support making informed decisions, executing initiatives quickly, and being a successful CHRO. We advise top CHRO's on how to:
- Develop strategies and plans to build the workforce of the future
- Lead organizational initiatives and advise the C-Suite and Board of Directors
- Transform the HR Function and the organization it serves
- Drive Employer differentiation to attract and retain talent
Gartner for CHRO is growing rapidly, providing invaluable advice to our clients.. To help fuel that growth, we are hiring an Executive Advisor for Member Acquisition. The Member Acquisition role is an amazing opportunity for a talented CHRO to leave the C-Suite but stay firmly in the game in a capacity that amplifies one's impact on the field of HR and leader's capability. The Member Acquisition role will be responsible for growing the Gartner for CHRO business by partnering with the Executive Partner CHRO team and Sales to identify, engage and demonstrate the value of Gartner for CHRO to prospective CHRO's and other Senior HR executives. This role will provide some direct client support, but primarily focus on helping to shape and manage our prospect pipeline and demonstrate the value of our service to prospective CHRO's and their teams via Proof of Concept (POC).
What you will do:
- Engage with CHRO's from the world's leading companies and organizations and make Gartner come alive for them.
- Educate and support Sales on new business opportunities.
- Act as a coach to the Sales Team to help qualify and engage new and current clients and to educate them on the value proposition of the CHRO service, helping to "bring it to life".
- Actively participate in the strategic account planning process to determine growth opportunities.
- Conduct Proof of Concept Calls, and help to prepare Service Kick-Offs (essentially transitioning the clients to a Service Delivery Team going forward)
- While you are not solely responsible for selling the CHRO service, you need to be comfortable in a Sales-led environment and find motivation from being in front of prospects and clients on a regular basis.
- Partner with the Executive Partner for CHRO Team, Sales, Marketing, and Research to develop and engage in the CHRO go-to-market strategy.
- Provide POC reporting; conversion rates, continuous improvement programs and insights as it relates to CHRO growth activities.
What you will need:- 20+ years working in a senior management role in a HR capacity and 5+ years as a CHRO or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of all aspects of the HR function
- A history of coaching, presenting, and collaborating at a senior level (C-level and Board highly preferable)
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred
