Exchange Traded Funds - Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Exchange Traded Funds - Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting, to join our Fund and IS Client Ops team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and complex funds, including determining net asset values (NAVs), calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
  • Lead and guide junior team members for assigned clients or funds; perform specialist review functions and provide input into methodologies, driving service improvement plans and process efficiencies.
  • Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions; resolve reconciliations for the most complex or atypical transactions and review junior team members9 work.
  • Draft and structure client reports on the performance of highly complex funds; regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes.
  • Evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to assess the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices.
  • Contribute to the achievement of related team objectives; may be tasked with Team Lead responsibilities and provide guidance to less experienced team members.


To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, with the ability to evaluate regulatory impacts on fund accounting practices.
  • People leadership: No direct reports; provides guidance to less experienced team members and may have Team Lead responsibilities in some geographies.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
