As our
Events & Field Marketing Lead, You'll spend your time bringing people together, keeping conversations meaningful and running events that finance leaders actually want to show up to.
This is an intense, hands-on role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.
Location: New York City HQ, 7 World Trade Center
Where you'll create impact- Run and grow our Slack community for CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance operators
- Keep the community active and high-quality through thoughtful prompts, conversations and moderation
- Be the main point of contact for community members and help make DualEntry feel approachable and human
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events (roundtables, panels, webinars, meetups)
- Handle events end to end: topic selection, speakers, logistics, promotion and follow-up
- Work closely with marketing, product, growth and sales to make sure community and events support broader goals
- Build real relationships with finance leaders not just "engagement"
- Share insights from the community back with the team and help turn them into better content, events, and product decisions
What sets you up for success- Hardcore work ethic and high agency
- You're comfortable working independently and don't need a lot of hand-holding
- You genuinely enjoy building communities and connecting people
- You have 3+ years of experience in community, events or marketing (B2B SaaS is a plus)
- You've managed a Slack or similar community before and understand what keeps it healthy
- You're organized and good at juggling multiple moving pieces
- You can communicate clearly and comfortably with senior finance professionals
- You do well in fast-moving environments where not everything is fully defined yet
Nice to have- Experience working in or around fintech, accounting or finance

Compensation & Benefits- Equity: $33,000 - $40,000
- Base salary: $100,000 - $125,000
