Full Job Description
About the role

We're a team of approximately 60 people headquartered in San Francisco, with a growing satellite office of around 10 people in New York. We're entering an exciting phase of growth: moving into a new San Francisco office designed to accommodate 80-100 employees and exploring a larger space for our expanding New York team.

We're looking for an Events & Operations Associate to help create an organized, welcoming, and engaging workplace experience across both offices. You'll support the day-to-day operations of our San Francisco headquarters, coordinate company events and team gatherings, and help ensure employees, candidates, and visitors have a great experience whenever they walk through our doors.

This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, staying on top of operational details, and jumping in wherever help is needed. You'll work closely with our People, Recruiting, IT, and Executive Operations teams and will have the opportunity to take on increasing ownership as the company grows.

You'll primarily support our San Francisco headquarters while helping coordinate vendors, events, and workplace needs for our New York office remotely.

What you'll do
  • Plan and execute company events, celebrations, team dinners, and offsites from concept through day-of execution.
  • Source and coordinate venues, catering, entertainment, transportation, and other event vendors.
  • Manage event timelines, invitations, attendee communications, budgets, and logistics.
  • Create thoughtful employee experiences that strengthen connection and culture across our San Francisco and New York offices.
  • Support onsite meetings, candidate visits, and leadership gatherings, ensuring spaces are prepared and guests feel welcomed.
  • Help keep the San Francisco office organized, stocked, and ready for employees and visitors.
  • Help with onboarding support, laptop access, new desk arrangement, and meeting and greeting new employees.
  • Coordinate occasional workplace and event needs for our New York office remotely.
  • Partner with People, Recruiting, and Executive Operations on company-wide programs and special projects.

What you'll bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in events, office operations, workplace experience, hospitality, administrative support, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several requests, deadlines, and logistical details at once.
  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, vendors, or workplace programs.
  • A hospitality-oriented mindset and genuine enthusiasm for helping people feel welcomed and supported.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach-you notice what needs attention and take initiative to address it.
  • Comfort working across teams and partnering with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and judgment.
  • The ability to remain calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented when plans change.
  • Comfort working from our San Francisco office five days per week, with occasional travel to New York.

Compensation & logistics

The base salary range for this role is $75,000-$115,000, depending on experience and scope. This is a full-time, in-office role based in San Francisco, with periodic travel to support our New York office.

Interview Process:
  • Chat with Head of Talent - 30 mins
  • Live Assessment with Head of Talent - 45 mins
  • Final Interview - 2 hours
  • Brief Background Check and Reference Check

We move fast, and we'll keep you informed at every stage of the process.

Our Benefits

We invest in our people the same way we invest in our product: seriously.
  • Health, Vision, and Dental benefits
  • Take-what-you-need Paid Vacation
  • + Life Insurance and Accidental Insurance
  • ♥ Short-Term Disability Coverage
  • Generous salary and equity for all staff
  • 401k option; helping you save for the future
  • Paid parental leave to support growing families
  • Yearly learning and development stipend
  • Commuter benefits for Bay Area employees
  • Uber ride stipend if you ever have to work late in the office
  • Remote office home stipend to get you comfy in your space
  • Daily catered lunches provided
  • Onboarding trip to San Francisco HQ if you work remotely
  • Monthly happy hours

Workplace Policy

We are an in-person company. Our offices in San Francisco, New York City and London are where ideas get built, decisions get made, and the team gets stronger. We have invested in making them genuinely great places to spend your day, with catered lunches, monthly happy hours, and people who care about the work and each other.

Most of our team works in office five days a week. For select roles, we hire remotely across the U.S. Remote employees come to one of our offices for their first week to onboard and meet the team, and we cover the full trip.

Every role is different. Travel expectations are always shared upfront in the job description and confirmed in your first call with us.
