Full Job Description
Salary: $81,000 - $87,500 /year

Pay Grade: 13

Job Summary

The Event Operations Support Manager will oversee the management of Eventions support systems, including creating customer-facing websites and managing the event booking tool for the department. This role will report to the Business Operations Manager and will support all departments of Eventions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while tracking more than one deadline and brings an eye for detail with a strong drive to provide a high level of customer service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain event support software and ERP solutions.
  • Create, update, and maintain high-quality event registration sites for upcoming events.
  • Develop online portals and check-in applications for customers.
  • Provide onsite and virtual training for event support software and ERP solutions.
  • Design and maintain content on the Eventions SharePoint site.


Additional Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Connect with Eventions teams and customers to ensure streamlined communication and support of events.
  • Oversee billing for registration site services.
  • Test systems for routine maintenance and verify upgrades are ready for implementation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, peers, and leadership.


Qualifications:
  • High School/GED diploma required, Associate's Degree or comparable experience preferred. 1-3 years planning/hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing large-scale, complex projects or multiple concurrent mid-sized projects, preferably in the food and hospitality, marketing, and/or technology environments.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in web design and development, including successfully building, managing, and updating websites.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend revisions and enhancements.
  • Experience with catering and special event booking platforms is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer services skills
  • Experience with EventsAIR or similar registration platforms preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with web design and UX
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Technical Skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ERP style or Event Planning software, basic computer skills, above average Outlook, Excel skills. Experience with registration platforms or event booking tools is preferred.
