Full Job Description
What your experience will be

Events at Slang AI are a direct pipeline driver, and you'll own making them happen. Your calendar will be a mix of owned activations, partner events, and in-market experiences - dinners, happy hours, co-hosted activations with partners, and hosted gatherings for enterprise prospects and customers across key territories. You'll be responsible for end-to-end execution: sourcing venues, building run-of-show documents, coordinating with partners and vendors, and managing logistics so the right people are in the room. The through-line is the same across all of it - every event should feel intentional, well-executed, and worth people's time.

You'll report to the Head of Marketing, who owns Slang's marketing strategy and will lean on you to turn that strategy into rooms full of the right people. Day to day, you'll work closely with Sales and Partnerships - aligning with co-hosts on format, responsibilities, and brand standards, and helping Sales build a repeatable playbook for territory activations they can actually use to open and advance deals. You'll also own the relationship with Slang's logistics and shipping partner, keep materials, swag, and collateral on track, and feed event performance into post-event reporting.

This is a remote role with travel to events, activations, and company offsites. You'll operate with a lot of independence - bringing structure, flagging issues early, and keeping things moving without needing to be closely managed. You'll use tools like HubSpot to manage guest lists, capture leads, and track post-event follow-up, and you're expected to bring real AI fluency to how you plan and execute - not just awareness of the tools that exist.

What Success Looks Like

  • Own end-to-end execution of Slang AI's event calendar, including partner activations, in-market dinners and happy hours, and co-hosted experiences for prospects and customers.
  • Build and maintain repeatable playbooks for each event format so execution improves - not just repeats - with every activation.
  • Coordinate with partners, venues, and vendors to deliver events that feel polished and on-brand every time.
  • Manage the relationship with Slang's logistics partner and own materials, swag, and collateral so nothing is late or missing.
  • Work closely with Sales to make sure the right people are invited, leads are captured, and follow-up happens cleanly after every event.
  • Track event performance and contribute to post-event reporting so the team knows what's driving pipeline.
  • Keep internal stakeholders aligned with clear timelines and proactive communication throughout every event cycle.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, or field marketing in a B2B environment.
  • A track record that gets you described as organized, proactive, and someone who takes ownership of outcomes rather than waiting to be directed.
  • Experience executing a mix of event formats - partner activations, hosted dinners, field events, or similar.
  • Comfort managing logistics end-to-end, including vendor coordination, shipping, and materials management.
  • Strong communication skills - you keep cross-functional teams informed and on track without being asked.
  • Active, fluent use of AI tools in your daily work - not just awareness of what's out there.
  • Preferred: experience in B2B SaaS, restaurant tech, or the hospitality industry.
  • Preferred: familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM for guest list management, lead capture, and post-event tracking.

  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career trajectory.
  • Contribute to a company mission that transforms the restaurant and hospitality industry.

Great events and great hospitality require the same instincts - this role will sharpen both, and change how you think about turning a room of strangers into a room of advocates.
