Fragrance Evaluation Manager | Northbrook, IL | Bell Flavors & Fragrances

At Bell Flavors & Fragrances, we believe fragrance has the power to transform everyday moments into memorable experiences. We are looking for a passionate, curious, and creative Fragrance Evaluation Manager to help create scents consumers will love.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with perfumers to bring fragrance ideas to life.

  • Evaluate and select fragrances that delight consumers and excite customers.

  • Turn trends, culture, and consumer insights into fragrance inspiration.

  • Lead projects from concept through customer presentation.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consumer Science, Regulatory, and Creative teams.

  • Present fragrance stories and recommendations with confidence.


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in fragrance evaluation and/or fragrance development.
  • Genuine interest in and passion for fragrances.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and distinguish subtle nuances in fragrance compositions. An olfactive assessment will be administered to evaluate sensory acuity.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate olfactive experiences and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to adapt to evolving priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
