ETL Developer / Data Integration Professional
Associate Data Architect I
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer / Data Integration Professional to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions supporting healthcare business operations.
The opportunity:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/data integration workflows. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and data lakes. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. Build scalable and high-performance data pipelines.
• Perform data mapping, profiling, validation, and reconciliation activities. Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot data integration issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and data engineers to understand requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance standards. Support production deployments and provide ongoing maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and process improvements

What you need:
• Required Skills Strong experience in ETL/Data Integration development. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database development.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, Matillion, or similar. Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Python scripting for data processing and automation. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git/Bitbucket. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 5-10+ Years or professional experience.
• Experience in Healthcare domain and healthcare data processing. Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
• Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote - US
Compensation Range: $106,000-$159,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
