We27re looking for an ETL / SSIS Developer who enjoys collaborating with coworkers and wants to help automate data delivery to various systems and their users. You27ll support a team delivering data solutions across a diverse portfolio of utility and energy clients. You27ll have opportunities to work on a variety of projects while continuing to build your technical expertise.
You can leverage the teams27 existing best practices and development framework to streamline and guide your development efforts. The application of this knowledge will ensure we can both meet our client requirements and develop/deploy our solutions efficiently and at scale.
What you will be doing:
Our business analysts, senior developers, and architects will share requirements and solution designs, and you27ll collaborate with the team to help build and support data integration solutions. Your daily tasks will be highly varied and could include developing solutions, monitoring their executions for anomalies, and troubleshooting problems that might arise from bad data.
Initial ramp up will require travel to our Reston HQ approximately 2 - 3 days a week. After that, candidates will be required to go into the office approximately 1 time per week. Rarely, there could be a need for travel for a conference or to another ICF location for collaboration. You may be required to participate in periodic drug testing and background checks.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor27s degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 2+ years experience working with SQL (e.g., query tuning, writing procedures/functions, building views)
- 1+ year(s) experience developing/optimizing SSIS packages with design to maximize flexibility and standardization
What we would like you to have:
- Experience with working with SSIS parameterized packages in a project solution using standard SDLC.
- Critical thinking skills / questioning why the requirements are what they are
- Experience consuming APIs as data sources/destinations
- Exposure to the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$81,147.00 - $137,949.00
