Bradford Construction currently has an opportunity for an experienced Estimator to support a contract consisting of multiple ongoing projects with one of our public agency clients.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a diverse range of technical, professional, and managerial staff-as well as designers, consultants, and contractors-to coordinate and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Participate in joint scope meetings and assist project management.
- Oversee the creation of quantity take-offs and cost evaluations based on join scope meeting and relevant documents.
- Review and analyze cost estimates submitted by contractors, providing recommendations on their suitability for implementation.
- Participate in cost-related negotiations to support project planning and budgeting efforts.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:- A minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience.
- Experience with public agencies is preferred.
- Experience with Job Order Contracts or a similar construction delivery method is preferred.
Education: Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; minimum of an Associates degree is required. #LI-Onsite
