Salary range: $90,000-$108,000/year
Summary of Duties: Provide complete and accurate trade specific estimates. Assemble Bid Tab with estimates and vendor/sub quotes. Coordinate and clarify scope internally and externally. Identify value engineering opportunities and fill in minor design/score gaps.
- Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must have solid understanding of estimation process.
- Review project documents.
- Identify scope of work.
- Material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
- Job site visits as needed
- Identify and document difficult/ non-standard conditions.
- Coordinate with Preconstruction Team to identify and fill scope gaps.
- Clarify scope with General Contractor and Engineer.
- Obtain quotes and coordinate/qualify scope with vendors and subcontractors.
- Completely assemble the Bid Tab in a timely manner.
- Provide value engineering ideas.
- Verify estimate accuracy by comparing data versus similar bids.
- File electronic documents.
- Participate in turnover process to Operations.
- Liaison between Estimating and Field Operations.
- Follow up on past awards.
- Other duties as assigned
Accountability:- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment (not a telecommuting position), currently located in the Central Park area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.

Minimum Physical Requirements:- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.

- Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.

Qualifications:- Proficient computer and typing skills.
- Fully competent in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- College/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
