Aperçu

Le/la Estimateur(trice) principal(e) – bâtiment est responsable de la préparation de devis de coûts précis, compétitifs et stratégiques pour des projets d’infrastructure ferroviaire, avec un fort accent sur les gares, les bâtiments et les composantes architecturales.

Ce rôle combine une expertise en travaux civils lourds et ferroviaires avec une connaissance approfondie de la construction verticale, des finis et des systèmes de bâtiment, afin de soutenir l’ensemble du cycle de réalisation des projets.

Les responsabilités comprennent l’analyse des plans et devis, l’élaboration de stratégies de prix, la coordination avec les parties prenantes internes et externes, ainsi que le soutien aux soumissions pour des projets majeurs et multidisciplinaires.


Votre rôle

  • Préparer des estimations détaillées des coûts de construction pour

  • Les travaux de gares (structures hors sol et souterraines, quais, bâtiments auxiliaires)

  • Les composantes architecturales (finis, façades, toitures, aménagement intérieur, éléments d’aménagement urbain)

  • Effectuer des relevés de quantités détaillés à partir de plans, de modèles BIM et de devis, incluant les composantes architecturales et de bâtiment

  • Développer des prix unitaires complets pour la main-d'œuvre, l’équipement et les matériaux, couvrant à la fois les travaux civils et de bâtiment

  • Analyser les données de coûts historiques, les références et les conditions du marché pour les infrastructures et la construction verticale

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les disciplines architecturales, structurales et MEP (mécanique, électricité, plomberie) afin d’assurer l’exhaustivité du périmètre et la constructibilité

  • Identifier les lacunes, les interfaces et les risques entre les composantes civiles, les systèmes et les éléments de bâtiment

À propos de vous

  • Baccalauréat en génie civil, gestion de la construction ou domaine connexe

  • De 8 à 12+ années d’expérience en estimation dans :

  • Les projets d’infrastructure ferroviaire / transport collectif (TLR, métro, gares)

  • Les projets de construction commerciale, institutionnelle ou de bâtiments complexes

  • Excellente connaissance de :

  • La construction de gares, les finis architecturaux et les systèmes de bâtiment (interfaces MEP)

  • Les pratiques de construction en infrastructure ferroviaire et travaux civils

  • L’intégration des composantes structurales, civiles et architecturales dans les projets de transport collectif

Overview

The Senior Estimator - Building Work is responsible for leading the preparation of accurate, competitive, and strategic cost estimates for rail infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on station, building, and architectural scopes. This role combines expertise in heavy civil and rail works with detailed knowledge of vertical construction, finishes, and building systems, supporting the full spectrum of project delivery. Responsibilities include analyzing drawings and specifications, developing pricing strategies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting bid submissions for major, multidisciplinary projects.

Your role

Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for:

  • Station works (above- and below-grade structures, platforms, ancillary buildings).

  • Architectural scope (finishes, façades, roofing, interior fit-out, public realm elements).

  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, BIM models, and specifications, including architectural and building components.

  • Develop comprehensive unit rates for labour, equipment, and materials across both civil and building scopesAnalyze historical cost data, benchmarks, and market conditions for both infrastructure and vertical construction.

  • Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure scope completeness and constructability.

  • Identify scope gaps, interfaces, and risks between civil, systems, and building elements.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • 8–12+ years of estimating experience in:

    • Rail/transit infrastructure projects (LRT, metro, stations).

    • Comctiomercial, institutional, or complex building construction.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Station construction, architectural finishes, and building systems (MEP interfaces).

    • Rail and civil infrastructure construction practices.

    • Integration of structural, civil, and architectural scopes within transit projects.
