In this position, you will act as the key liaison between the Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and Risk teams. You will directly assist traders and sales professionals with their daily activities, ensuring all transactions are accurately booked, monitored, and reported. As the primary point of contact for support functions, you will champion the resolution of operational discrepancies on behalf of the Front Office, helping to maintain processing integrity and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Front Office Operations: Assist traders and sales staff on a daily basis, facilitating seamless execution, booking, and post-trade management of derivative transactions.
  • Manage Lifecycle Events: Actively monitor, process, and manage portfolio expiries, corporate actions, and other critical lifecycle events.
  • Resolve Trade Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve trade booking discrepancies by coordinating promptly with global and local support teams, external counterparties, and the trading desk.
  • Collaborate with Risk Teams: Partner closely with the Market Risk and Finance groups to investigate, analyze, and resolve profit and loss (P&L) breaks.
  • Optimize Controls and Procedures: Regularly update operational metrics and ensure internal procedures are current. Constantly leverage available resources to design and maintain efficient, robust control processes that protect our business and serve our clients.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in trade support, middle office, or operations within an investment banking or capital markets environment.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong, comprehensive knowledge of equity derivatives markets, derivative products, the trade lifecycle, and end-to-end settlement flows.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA or advanced functions are a plus).
    • Direct working knowledge of Sophis is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with the Summit application is considered a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently, effectively, and promptly liaise with institutional counterparties and fast-paced trading desks.
  • Licensing: SEI and Series 99 certifications are highly preferred (or the willingness to obtain them shortly after hire).

What We Offer
  • A highly collaborative, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
  • Direct exposure to complex financial products and senior Front Office professionals.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and clear pathways for career growth.
