Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD/MD/PharmD) in life sciences; immunology/neuroscience/oncology experience is a plus
• Competitiveness, drive, strong work ethic, creativity, enthusiasm to learn, and ability to work well in a team
• Strong analytical skills in evaluating preclinical/clinical data
• 3+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical equity research, buy-side, healthcare consulting, or biopharmaceutical industry preferred
• High proficiency in written and verbal communication
• Statistical background/Python programming skills desirable
• Experience with clinical trial statistics and designs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct proprietary research on drug pipelines through data analysis and expert interviews
• Build and maintain financial models for investment valuation
• Write detailed research reports for companies under coverage
• Create statistical models and conduct analyses of clinical trial data
• Interpret industry news, patent law, and clinical data
• Conceive and execute differentiated research project ideas
• Communicate effectively with company management, internal teams, and investors
