Full Job Description
Ondas is seeking an experienced Equity and Compensation Accounting Analyst to oversee the accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance activities related to the Company's employee benefit programs, payroll, and equity compensation arrangements.

This role will ensure accurate accounting treatment of employee-related liabilities and expenses under U.S. GAAP, maintain effective internal controls, and support a growing global workforce. The Equity and Compensation Accounting Analyst will partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Tax, Legal, Information Technology, external administrators, and other third-party service providers to support compliant, scalable, and efficient payroll, benefits, and equity administration processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and oversee the Company's global equity compensation programs, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), employee stock purchase plans (ESPPs), and other share-based awards.
  • Coordinate equity grant processing, vesting events, exercises, terminations, and participant communications while ensuring compliance with plan provisions and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and external administrators to support equity accounting, reporting, and SEC disclosure requirements.
  • Manage payroll reconciliations across domestic and international operations, ensuring payroll-related accounts are accurate, complete, and adequately supported.
  • Review payroll data, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and employer contributions to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to payroll, employee benefits, and equity compensation programs.
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of new payroll systems and related technologies across multiple countries and business units.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, and third-party vendors to define requirements, test system configurations, and support successful deployments.
  • Develop and enhance payroll, benefits, and equity-administration processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable payroll-tax regulations, labor laws, equity-compensation requirements, benefit-plan obligations, and internal policies across all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with payroll providers, equity plan administrators, consultants, and other third-party service providers.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, reconciliations, and management presentations related to payroll operations, benefit programs, equity compensation, and system-implementation initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating audit requests, providing documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting with remediation efforts as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, equity compensation, accounting, or related Finance and Human Resources functions.
  • Experience administering stock-based compensation programs and working with equity administration platforms.
  • Experience supporting global payroll operations, multi-country payroll processes, and payroll system implementations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP accounting principles related to compensation, payroll, employee benefits, and stock-based compensation.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, project-management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across departments, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive employee, payroll, and compensation information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Certified Equity Professional (CEP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other relevant professional certification.
  • Experience supporting SEC reporting, proxy-statement disclosures, stock-based compensation footnotes, or public-company financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with payroll, HRIS, ERP, equity-administration, or financial-reporting systems.
  • Experience working with publicly traded companies, global organizations, or multi-entity operating environments.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal controls over financial reporting, payroll-tax compliance, and audit-support processes.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this Equity & Compensation Accounting Analyst position is $120,000-$135,000 per year. This range represents the good-faith estimate of the salary Ondas reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable law. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, which may include annual incentive compensation, equity, health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits, subject to the terms of applicable plans and programs.
