Full Job Description
Support new tool installation and qualification. Achieve planned for output ramp vendor release schedules on new tools and system conversions. Work closely with the process engineers, process lead and LOL on start-ups and conversions to meet required in-service dates. Support future engineering modifications needed for Micron's products. Work closely with process engineering, planning and R&D for the timely execution of all modifications. Track equipment performance and develop Pareto analysis of tool issues. Manage vendor support through documented CIP commitments. Work with 1st shift process engineering to plan experiments and modifications for availability and through improvements. Implement a comprehensive PM system for responsible tool set(s). Ensure equipment maintenance and repair procedures, and schedules are maintained. Work with other engineers to develop process and equipment modifications to improve product yield, increase productivity, and reduce cost. Audit and track the success of the PM scheduling. Work with line support to maintain the integrity of the responsible WS. Attend and be an active member in the workstation module meeting. Relay to line support, all the ongoing and future plans to improve the workstation. Assist the line support activities. Work to reduce diffusion area SPC and run deviation occurrences and assist in the development of corrective actions. Drive excursion and scrap reduction plans where equipment hardware and maintenance methods are a factor. Work with the diffusion cost engineer to reduce cost for responsible tool set(s). Review and audit the overall COO. Ensure the communication of all process and equipment related changes affecting responsible tools in the diffusion process area. Regularly report on equipment issues, plans and accomplishments. Ensure proper change control documentation for all equipment team activities and projects. Assist in the implementation of all aspects of the TPM program. Work to maintain a good relation with all support areas i.e. fab support, facilities, purchasing.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Position requires:
