Full Job Description
As a strategic Equipment and Inventory Planner, you will be an integral leader within the Data Center Engineering and Construction (DEC) team, driving global equipment and material demand plan aggregation for our hyper-scale build program. This critical role is responsible for translating site-specific requirements into a unified, unconstrained DEC Equipment and Material demand plan, actively aligning internal project needs with complex global market supply chain capacity. You will coordinate high-stakes equipment prioritization across active sites, partner cross-functionally with Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain Execution (ISCE) and provide executive-level reporting on critical supply and demand gaps and You will report on critical supply-and-demand gaps and facilitate and communicate the business response to those gaps, playing a decisive role in de-bottlenecking the supply chain and ensuring project velocity at an unprecedented scale.

Responsibilities

Lead equipment and material demand planning for all active, planned, optionality, and enablement BOM projects within the Equipment/Material Controls team
• Facilitate prioritization review meetings to address supply-demand gaps
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the team
• Coordinate matrixed communication channels to ensure stakeholder engagement
• Record and assess accepted delays, including their impact on PR dates and key milestones
• Contribute to the BOM design change process for Site Specific Design deliverables, ensuring non-negotiable requests are reviewed and approved or rejected by DC Product Engineers and design stakeholders
• Manage and Track changes against Vendor Committed Dates (VCD) and Required On Job (ROJ)
• Analyze and report on root causes of Bill of Material (BOM) changes, collaborating cross-functionally to address underlying drivers
• Reporting on critical supply and demand gaps
• Facilitate and communicate the business response from supply demand gaps
• Communicate BOM changes resulting from EOR performance during EOR Performance Reviews and Allocation Strategy sessions, with a focus on Prime-related changes
• Prepare executive-level reports on supply-demand pegging and influence Long Term Agreement (LTA) limits to enhance future optionality
• Lead the development of the Program Wiki page and document process SOPs in the Knowledge Base
• Integrate findings from Equipment/Material Controls into Project Specific Risk registers
• Track and report lessons learned related to the Equipment/Material Controls process

Minimum Qualifications
• Understanding of contract terms, scheduling, and integration of project libraries
• Minimum of 8 years experience in construction or project management or supply chain
• Proven experience in cross-functional leadership communication and collaboration, bridging technical and financial stakeholders
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or any related field
• Experience synthesizing large datasets and producing analysis to support decision-making (e.g., demand forecasting, supply-demand pegging, root-cause analysis)
• Demonstrated experience developing and driving actions or operational adjustments based on controls performance metrics
• Strong track record as an individual contributor in supply chain administration, demand planning, and risk management

Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Successful development and implementation of controls strategies in a large organization
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
