Elgin Veterinary Hospital in Elgin, Texas is seeking a full-time Equine Veterinarian to join our team.

About You

The ideal candidate would be someone with an ambitious interest in all aspects of equine medicine and willing to put in the effort required to establish a clientele in the competitive equine market. We are seeking a professional, dedicated candidate who is dependable, possesses exceptional time management and communication skills, works well with others, and maintains a positive attitude.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Elgin Veterinary Hos pital, a renowned equine referral hospital located in Elgin, Texas, near Austin, Texas is seeking an Associate Equine Veterinarian with a strong interest in internal medicine and sports medicine cases. We are proud members of AAE P, and we provide high-quality , dedicated care for every patient. Our hospital has a collaborative team and is committed to a positive work environment.

We take pride in providing compassionate care and upholding the highest standards of medical excellence. Our hospital handles a high volume of very diverse cases . We take great pride in offering the highest quality medicine and a wide range of services.

Our well-equipped facility features three digital x-ray machines, three ultrasound machines, a Shockwave machine, a standing MRI, PRP, IRAP, Prostride , stem cell therapy, a video endoscope, on-site laboratory services, and two fully equipped surgical suites.

We are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

We serve: Elgin, Bastrop, Manor , and surrounding areas.
