Job Description

The Director, Epilepsy & Movement Disorder (EMD) and Market Access Activation Lead is responsible for translating Brand and functional needs into the plans and roadmaps of the Global Capabilities within the Business Operations and Analytics (BOA) team. This is an individual contributor role that will report directly into the VP, BOA and dotted lines into the EMD Franchise and Market Access Function. This role will be attending Leadership Team meetings as needed to understand business needs and to communicate and help embed new and existing Global Capabilities into the EMD Franchise (including Marketing and all field teams). This role will heavily interact across the EMD Franchise teams and functions, Market Access Team, and the Global Capability Owners within the Customer Experience Organization.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • This role plays a pivotal role in Jazz's desire to create a seamless Customer Experience and anchoring the effectiveness of the new Global Capability Operating model.
    • Serve as the link between the Franchise / Function and the Global Capability Team, ensuring business needs are clearly communicated, technologies are effectively developed, and newly created capabilities are adopted and deliver measurable value
    • Develops activation plans to ensure effective roll out and enablement
    • Assesses skill gaps to ensure proper readiness and training approaches
    • Continually assess and measure success outcomes, and adjust activation plan to meet evolving needs and adoption
    • Ensure a cohesive delivery and adoption experience across the franchise
  • Represent the EMD Franchise and Market Access Function to Global Capability Teams:
    • Ensure the strategic priorities, business requirements, and end-user needs of the EMD Franchise and the Market Access Function are accurately translated into actionable inputs for the teams building capabilities
    • Partner with capability owners to accelerate discovery, roadmap planning, and solution design
    • Monitor organizational impact metrics related to Global Capabilities and deliver strategic insights to Franchise Leadership, Functional Leadership and Cx Operations Leadership


  • Embed new Global Capabilities in the ways of working across the EMD Franchise and the Market Access Function to unlock the full power of new technology-enabled approaches.
    • Lead the rollout of new capabilities within the EMD and Market Access field and marketing organizations (e.g., CRM enhancements, dashboards, website chatbot, Next Best Action, AI-enabled tools)
    • Drive the deployment of new CRM and other field capabilities by coordinating with Field Activators and driving change management and training for EMD and Market Access field teams
    • Drive adoption and effective utilization of new Global Capabilities by shaping mindset shifts, influencing behavioral change, and ensuring measurable business impact across the EMD Franchise and Market Access Function
    • Adapt processes, drive training and communications, and evolve ways of working within EMD Franchise and Market Access Function to embed new business capabilities in daily work
    • Make solutions intuitive and usable so employees can deliver better customer experiences and stronger business outcomes
  • Catalyze and support Omnichannel Orchestration execution-including planning, alignment, and impact measurement-in close collaboration with BOA stakeholders, enabling seamless integration of Personal and Non-Personal customer engagement.


Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years minimum work experience required in Marketing, Omnichannel or Activation roles
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the EMD franchise and is recognized as a known contributor within the EMD team
  • Knowledge of Market Access and above brand initiatives to support payers and other customers
  • Proven ability to lead activation initiatives, translate strategy into execution and drive measurable outcomes
  • Awareness of the Product Operating Model and agile methods
  • Formal training or hands-on experience in organizational change management
  • Proficiency in analyzing adoption, utilization, and performance data to derive insights and inform decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to translate complex capability concepts into simple, compelling narratives tailored to field and leadership audiences


Working Requirements:
  • 20-30% travel will be required

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is:
$188,672.00 - $283,008.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
