Professional - Nonclinical
Req #: 91326

Are you someone who enjoys technology, teaching others, and helping clinical teams get the most out of the tools they use every day? MaineHealth is looking for an EPIC Application Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time, onsite role. In this position, you'll be a go-to resource for clinical team members using EPIC. You'll provide training and ongoing end-user support for providers, clinical staff, and ancillary teams, helping them confidently navigate the system and incorporate EPIC into their daily workflows.

A big part of this role is education. You'll develop training materials tailored to different clinical disciplines, deliver training, troubleshoot end-user needs, and help maintain application functionality within the MaineHealth EPIC model system. Your understanding of clinical workflows will be important as you help connect technology with the way care is actually delivered.

Note - You will be onsite at medical offices providing training and end user support of the EPIC system for clinical team members, including training of all providers, clinical, and ancillary staff.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with people just as much as technology. You should be a strong communicator and trainer who can explain systems clearly, solve problems, and build relationships with a variety of clinical professionals. If you enjoy teaching, problem-solving, technology, and supporting healthcare professionals-and you're looking for an onsite role where your work can make a difference in the day-to-day delivery of patient care-we'd love to hear from you.

Summary:
The EPIC Application Support Specialist role is responsible for providing training and end user support of the EPIC system for clinical team members, including training of all providers, clinical, and ancillary staff; maintaining application functionality within the MaineHealth model system; and supporting end user needs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Credentialed in EPIC focused modules or complete MH credentialing program may be required.
