Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience with Epic interfaces and integration projects.
• Epic Bridges certification is mandatory; additional certifications preferred (Beaker, Data Courie, Aura, Care Everywhere).
• Strong grasp of interface standards including HL7, FHIR, and API-based interoperability.
• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Familiarity with lab workflows, particularly in genetic testing and LIMS integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain interfaces between Epic and external systems using standards like HL7 and FHIR.
• Monitor and troubleshoot message delivery, formatting, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with Epic analysts and technology teams to support workflow testing and configurations.
• Develop and execute various testing phases for new or modified interfaces, including UAT.
• Work with clients and users to validate performance and data integrity of interfaces.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and status reports related to interfaces.
• Support system upgrades and migrations involving interface changes and assess impacts from updates.
