Do you want to handle high stakes litigation with cutting edge scientific issues?  Do you want to take your courtroom and deposition skills to the next level?  Do you want to write and argue significant motions and make new law?  If so, we need you!  Our collegial and dedicated group of environmental and toxic tort (ETT) lawyers is rapidly expanding.  We work together to achieve the best possible results for our clients, many of whom are Fortune 100 companies.  We are equally dedicated to mentoring our associates to become the best advocates they can be.  While anyone with strong experience in litigation should apply, the ideal candidates will have 2 to 8 years of substantive litigation experience (including taking depositions and/or arguing motions in court) in one or more of the following subject areas:  CERCLA; RCRA; silica; talc & asbestos; nuisance & trespass; complex litigation; tort and products liability; general environmental and toxic tort.  Candidates must be team players with strong academic credentials and be self-starters who feel ready to handle cases with limited supervision.

Candidates must be licensed in California.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including eligibility for both discretionary and performance-based bonuses, as well as student loan repayment assistance. As a national firm with a diverse and flexible workforce, including remote roles, alternative work arrangements, and contract opportunities throughout the country, our compensation structure reflects the wide range of career paths available within our platform. Our current national base salary ranges are:

  • Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000;

  • Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+.

 Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market. We are committed to offering compensation that is both competitive and aligned with the value each professional brings to the firm.
