Full Job Description
Your Day-to-Day
  • Support the development, implementation, and management of environmental policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct and support required waste, water, and air compliance inspections.
  • Coordinate hazardous waste and material shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with environmental goals, objectives, management systems, audits, regulatory inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Investigate environmental incidents and help identify, analyze, and mitigate environmental risks.
  • Educate employees on environmental requirements and best practices.
  • Partner with management, employees, and third-party providers to implement environmental programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain environmental records, compliance documentation, and required reporting data.
  • Stay current on environmental regulations through ongoing professional development.
  • Support occasional weekend air monitoring and provide off-shift/on-call support as needed.
Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, and wear required PPE, including fall protection and respiratory protection.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $88,000 - $111,000
