Oxford Solutions is working with an environmental consulting firm seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This position will manage environmental assessment, investigation, remediation, and compliance projects from initial scope through final reporting and regulatory closure.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of environmental consulting experience, strong Phase I/Phase II ESA and remediation experience, and knowledge of Pennsylvania environmental regulations, including PA Act 2.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental consulting projects, including Phase I/II ESAs, site investigations, remediation, UST, asbestos, mold, and indoor air quality projects.
- Develop project scopes, investigation and remediation plans, proposals, budgets, schedules, and technical reports.
- Oversee field activities and provide technical direction to junior staff.
- Review environmental data and ensure projects meet applicable regulatory and client requirements.
- Manage projects from kickoff through completion, including budgets, schedules, deliverables, and regulatory coordination.
- Communicate with clients, PADEP and other regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of environmental consulting experience.
- Strong experience with Phase I ESAs, Phase II investigations, environmental site assessment, and remediation.
- Working knowledge of Pennsylvania Act 2 regulations and PADEP processes.
- Experience managing environmental project budgets, schedules, scopes, and deliverables.
- Experience coordinating field investigations and directing junior technical staff.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex environmental and regulatory information clearly to clients and other stakeholders.
- Professional certification or licensure is strongly preferred.
